Privacypolicy
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we need it, who helps us process it, and the rights you have over it under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 Tahun 2022).
Only what we need
We collect the details needed to run your bookings, courses, and account.
Never sold
We never sell your personal data or share it for advertising.
Payments stay with Duitku
We never see or store your card number, bank PIN, or banking password.
You stay in control
Update or delete your data from your account, or ask us any time.
Who we are
Color For You ("Color For You", "we", "us"), South Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia, is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@colorforyou.id.
Data we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, profile photo, and the sign-in method you use (email and password, Google, or Instagram). Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form.
- Booking details: your phone or WhatsApp number, Instagram handle (optional), the service and package you choose, the date and time, and any notes you add.
- Payment details: order ID, amount, payment method (bank virtual account or QRIS), payment status, and the reference number from our payment partner. We do not receive card numbers, bank PINs, or internet-banking credentials.
- Learning details: course progress, bookmarks, exam results, and the name printed on your certificate.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form, email, or WhatsApp.
- Technical data: cookies needed to keep you signed in, and basic server logs (such as IP address and browser type) used for security.
How we use your data
- To create and run your account, and to show your bookings, payments, and courses back to you.
- To take bookings, process payments, and confirm, remind you about, reschedule, or refund sessions.
- To give access to courses and issue certificates.
- To answer your questions and handle complaints.
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.
We process data because it is needed to provide the service you asked for, to meet legal obligations, for our legitimate interest in running a secure business, or — where required — with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run Color For You, and only what each one needs:
- Duitku — payment processing (bank virtual accounts and QRIS).
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud — secure database hosting.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Cloudflare R2 — storage for uploaded images and files.
- Resend — sending account and booking emails.
- WhatsApp Business (Meta) — booking and payment notifications to the number you give us.
- Google and Instagram — only if you choose to sign in with them.
We may also disclose data when required by Indonesian law or a lawful request from the authorities.
Some of these providers store data on servers outside Indonesia. We use providers that protect data with industry-standard security and contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep account and learning data for as long as your account is active. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as Indonesian tax and accounting law requires (up to 10 years), even after an account is deleted. Other data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
How we protect it
The website uses HTTPS encryption, passwords are hashed, and access to customer data is limited to the studio team who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but if a data breach affects you we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete — most details can be edited directly in your account.
- Delete your account and personal data — available in your account settings — subject to records we must keep by law.
- Withdraw consent or object to certain processing.
- Complain to the competent authority if you believe your data is mishandled.

Cookies
We only use essential cookies — the ones that keep you signed in and keep your session secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
Our services are meant for adults. Anyone under 18 should book or buy with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes will be announced on the website or by email.
